CandleLit 2012 - Photos

The service was attended by approximately 120 people, many had to stand. 85 O of S were printed the last one was given out about 10 - 15 mins before the service started. Christine E, the Vicar, at the start of the service asked for volunteers to share with those who did not have an O of S. We were completely overwhelmed with number of people attending. About 70 stayed for the free tea and mince pies.

We were naturely very pleased with the numbers who turned out and we had a lot of compliments on the friendliness and atmosphere of the service.

ALL of the collection goes to the Churchs Conservation Trust. The Tea, Coffee, Mince Pies, Cakes, Candles, O of S and anything I have forgotten is supplied by Volunteers. The Organist (Mark Nicholls) and the Vicar (Christine Everett) also gave their time and effort freely. It really was a fantastic result and makes all the effort really worth it. A very big thank you to all those who attended and took part.
